The structure for pouring the concrete machine shed floor has been constructed.

The plot thickens (and the hole deepens)!
As they earthmovers started digging the hole for the new foundation, they uncovered the previously buried foundation of an old house. I’m going to assume that it’s from Wyatt Earp’s homestead, as he grew up in this neck of the woods. Mark that down as the first unexpected discovery of the project.

The earth movers have arrived!
This summer, The Overlook is undergoing a significant remodel, including the addition of a 1000 sq. foot machine shed and workshop, and complete renovation of the outside of the main building and guest rooms. Today was ground breaking day! The team is working to flatten out some hills in preparation for new concrete being poured.…
